LATIMER - Four people were injured in an accident at an uncontrolled intersection in Franklin County Monday afternoon.

The Iowa State Patrol said a vehicle driven by Hannah Rupkes, 17, of Latimer, collided with a pickup driven by Tyler Debour, 26, of Latimer, at the intersection of 170th Street and Finch Avenue about 3:45 p.m.

Rupkes and Maia Zewart, 15, of Sheffield, and Stephen Rodriguez, 24, of Hampton, were all transported to Hampton General Hospital, where their conditions were not available. Debour was air-lifted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

The report did not state which people were in which vehicles.

It states that Rupkes was southbound on Finch Avenue and Debour was eastbound on 170th Street when collision occurred. The pickup rolled over upon impact and came to rest in the east ditch.
