MASON CITY - A truck crash on Interstate 35 in Cerro Gordo County closed the southbound lanes of the interstate early Monday.
The accident occurred at mile marker 200.
The Iowa State Patrol said a semi driven by Theodore Tooley, 62, of Manitoba, Canada, rolled after Tooley fell asleep about 1:30 a.m. The rolled-over vehicle blocked both southbound lanes of the interstate.
Tooley was not injured. He was charged with failure to maintain control and an hours-over violation and not having his log book current.
I-35 was reopened shortly before 4 a.m.
