SIOUX CITY (AP) - An early-morning fire killed two Sioux City men on Sunday.
Police say the men, neither of whom has been identified, were found in a home at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, unconscious.
At least six fire trucks and 18 firefighters tried to combat the blaze. Neighbors reported seeing smoke and flames from outside the house.
One of the men was taken to Mercy Medical Center, the other to St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City. They were each pronounced dead at the hospitals.
The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
