ADAIR - A Greene man was injured in a pickup-semi-tractor trailer collision on Interstate 80 in Adair County Saturday morning.

Stpephen Carney was taken to a hospital listed as CCMH by Iowa State Patrol troopers.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, Carney was westbound on Interstate 80 when he lost control of the vehicle about 9:45 a.m. near mile marker 79. The pickup crossed the median and collided with the rear duals of a semi driven by Daniel Vincent, 60, of Jamestown, N.Y. The semi was eastbound on I-80.

The pickup came to rest in the median and the semi came to rest on the eastbound shoulder. The report states that Carney was wearing a seat belt.
