GRUNDY CENTER - An investigation into a burglary at a mobile home produced five arrests this week, according to the Grundy County Sheriff's Department.

Officials on Monday charged Nels McMullen, 28, and Kristina Bennet, 43, both of Conrad, with third-degree burglary, a Class D Felony, and with forgery, a Class C felony.

McMullen remains in jail on $25,000 bond.

Bennet remains in jail on $8,000 bond. She is also being held on a warrant from Missouri for probation violation.

On Tuesday, authorities charged Robert Bradley, 18, of Conrad, and Ashley Bradley, 24, and Brian Miller, 22, both of Eldora, with third-degree burglary and with forgery.

Robert Bradley was released from jail Wednesday. Ashley Bradley and Miller were released on promises to appear.

The sheriff's office and the Grundy Center Police Department made the arrests after looking into a burglary in Conrad and subsequent use of checks taken from the mobile home passed at businesses in Grundy Center.
