CHARLES CITY - A Charles City man has been sentenced to up to two years in prison for willful failure to register as a sex offender.

Justin L. Moor, 25, pleaded guilty to the charge last month in Floyd County District Court.

Moor was convicted of sexual abuse in the second degree in 2001. The offense was against a minor, according to court records.

In July,Moor moved to a residence in Charles City located within 2,000 feet of a school or registered day care program without registering as a sex offender, court records state.
