DES MOINES (AP) - Authorities are asking for help in identifying a body found in Ringgold County in southern Iowa.
The body was found by hunters on Dec. 3, 2007.
An autopsy was performed at the state medical examiner's office in Ankeny.
Officials with the Iowa Department of Public Safety say it was determined the remains were from a man in his early 20s, who was between 5 feet 3 inches tall. They say the man was likely Caucasian or Hispanic.
A pair a DVS brand shoes were found with the body, along with Tommy Hilfiger jean shorts and a maroon-colored hooded sweatshirt.
The investigation is continuing.
Authorities say a cause of death has not been determined, but it's being treated as suspicious because of trauma found during the autopsy.
