NEW HARTFORD - A third person has died as a result of the single-car rollover near Parkersburg Thursday night.

Adam Dean Burris, 1, of Parkersburg, died today at University Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from injuries in the accident.

His death is listed on the Web site of the Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home in Parkersburg.

He had been airlifted to the hospital after being found in the partially submerged car in the ditch along County Road T-47 a half mile north of Iowa Highway 57 about 9:08 p.m.

The Iowa State Patrol reported that Jesse and Krista Burris, both 23, of Parkersburg, were killed when their vehicle, northbound on County Road T-47, went out of control, entered the east ditch and rolled into standing water.

Jesse Burris was driving at the time.
