MARSHALLTOWN - Concrete patching work will cause lane restrictions on U.S. 30 in Tama County beginning Wednesday, weather permitting.
According to the Iowa Department of Transportation's Marshalltown construction office, the project area is set from two miles east of Tama County Road T-47 to a half mile east of the city of Tama. Traffic will be restricted to one lane when workers are present.
When lane closures are in place, traffic will be assisted through the work area by flaggers and a pilot car. The work is scheduled for weekdays through Sept. 23, weather permitting.
