WATERLOO - An 18-year-old Waterloo man suffered a gunshot wound to the lower back in a shooting incident Sunday night in the 1100 block of Mulberry Street.

The victim was identified as Corvelous Devortae Caston of 908 Mulberry St.

Police were called to the scene about 10 p.m. They reportedly found Caston laying facedown on the sidewalk in front of 1128 Mulberry St.

Caston was being treated today at Allen Hospital, where a condition was not being released.

Few other details were released on how the shooting happened. No arrests have been made.
