-- If today is your garbage pickup day in Waterloo, you need to wait until Monday to put your cans at curbside. If you pickup day was Thursday, you still have time. Thursday's route was moved to Saturday.

-- Hartman Reserve Nature Center in Cedar Falls will have its annual Mother Nature's Garage Sale today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You can help in one of two ways - shopping or donating. The Center is seeking items which are related to outdoors such as sporting equipment, lawn and garden supplies, camping equipment or any other slighly used items related to the enjoyment of nature.
