BURNSIDE (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a north-central Iowa teenager who died in a minivan crash that injured five others teens.
The Iowa State Patrol says 14-year-old Chase Dodson, of Dayton, was killed Wednesday afternoon when the minivan went out of control on a gravel road and rolled. The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. about one mile southeast of Burnside, which is south of Fort Dodge.
Troopers say Dodson was thrown from the van.
The patrol says the driver of the van, 15-year-old Cody Breitsprecher, of Dayton, and four other teenagers, also from Dayton, were injured in the crash.
