CEDAR FALLS - Louie Maas Treloar, 86, of Cedar Falls, died July 13 at Western Home Communities from complications of Alzheimer's disease.

He was born March 22, 1922, in Ogden, son of Dr. Orson and Louise Maas Treloar. He married Lura Miller on April 19, 1943, in Ogden.

Mr. Treloar graduated from Ogden High School in 1941 and attended Iowa State University for two years, studying forestry. He worked as a federal meat inspector with the USDA and was a member of Parkersburg United Methodist Church, Parkersburg.

Survived by: his wife; a son, Larry (Sue) of Clear Lake; two daughters, Louise Egan of Irvine, Calif., and Lynn (Sam) Neill of Waterloo; five grandchildren; a brother, Dr. Orson (Linda) Treloar of Roswell, N.M.; and two sisters, Judy Eddins of Heber City, Utah, and Janice (Lee) White of Yakima, Wash.

Preceded in death by: a sister, Joan Stewart.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Parkersburg United Methodist Church, with burial at 3 p.m. in Glenwood Cemetery, Ogden. There will be no visitation. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials: may be directed to the church or Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls.
