NASHUA - Marvin W. "Bud" Hall, 88, of Nashua, died Monday, Feb. 11, at Mercy Medical Center, New Hampton.

He was born July 22, 1919, in Dexter, Minn., son of William and Edith Nichols Hall. On May 3, 1946, he married Norma Sours at First Congregational Church in Nashua.

Mr. Hall was a 1937 graduate of Nashua High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was a pilot of the C-47. He worked for a short time at Oliver in Charles City and John Deere in Waterloo before he began trapping. He also was a commercial fisherman

Survivors include: his wife; four daughters, Sara Hanson of Bellingham, Wash., Sandy (Bill) Stanley of Waverly, Sue (Mike) Sinnwell of Belmond and Peggy (Lonnie) Litchfield of Washington; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Judith Schmidt of Cedar Rapids and Verna Kueker of Tripoli.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Lee Hall; and a half brother, Howard Hall.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, both in Nashua. Graveside military rites will be conducted by Nashua Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6792. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and for an hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
