POSTVILLE - Roger A. Engstrom, 57, of Postville, died Monday, June 2, while traveling near Cedar Falls, following a sudden illness.

He was born Nov. 13, 1950, son of Melvin and Margaret Heckel Engstrom. He married Mary Arns on June 25, 1977, in Waverly.

Mr. Engstrom was a credit manager at Agriprocessors, Postville.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Melinda (Shane Nicely) Uhlenhake of Dickeyville, Wis., and Elizabeth (Tyler Plate) Engstrom of Waverly; a grandson, Michael Nicely; his mother of Omaha; three brothers, Marvin (Annamae) of Tabor, S.D., Tom of Lincoln, Neb., and Gary (Kathy) of Omaha; and three sisters, Carol (Harlan) Brugger of Stewart, Fla., Marlys (Jim) Dickmeyer of Windside, Neb., and Janet (Jaime) Bonet of Omaha.

Preceded in death by: his father.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Community Presbyterian Church, Postville, with burial at a later date. Public visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Friday at Community Presbyterian Church, Postville. Schutte Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family.
