WATERLOO - Virginia "Jenny" Rae Stohr Guido, 54, of Waterloo, died Thursday, April 30, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home of cancer.

She was born May 1, 1954, in Waterloo, daughter of Harold C. and Reva D. Smirl Stohr. She married Paul Guido on Aug. 17, 1973, in San Diego.

She graduated from East High School in 1972 and in 1973 joined the U.S. Navy.

Survived by: her husband; a son, James (Linda) of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a daughter, Kristi Guido of Marion; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a brother, Claire Stohr of Waterloo; and two sisters, Beverly Stohr of Evansdale and Ruth Pazdera of Gilbertville.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a sister-in-law, Marlene Stohr.

Services: No services are planned. Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories assisted the family.
