WATERLOO - Janet A. Walser, 64, of Waterloo, formerly of Peoria, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 3, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, of pancreatic cancer.

She was born July 22, 1944, in Clinton, Ill., daughter of Herman and Evelyn Lamson Myers.

Ms. Walser graduated from Richwoods High School, Peoria, in 1962, and attended Bradley University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Peoria, for over 50 years.

Survived by: two sons, Andy (Amy) of Waterloo and James (Lisa) of Medina, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tristan, Rebecca and Samuel; and a brother, Robert (Patti) Myers of Hennepin, Ill.

Preceded in death by: her parents; and a grandson, Luke.

Memorial services: will be held at a later date at First United Methodist Church, Peoria. Public visitation 2 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
