WATERLOO - Nancy Anne Boyer, 61, of Waterloo, died Friday, April 10, at Cedar Valley Hospice House of natural causes.
She was born Jan. 14, 1948, in Waterloo, daughter of Walter J. and Irene Leone Murray Martin. She married Lawrence J. Boyer on Aug. 17, 1967, at United Presbyterian Church, Waterloo, and they later divorced.
Ms. Boyer graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1966, then attended school to be a beautician and worked for a short time at a beauty shop in Cedar Falls. She began working for Deere & Co. in the mid-1970s, retiring in 1998.
Survived by: two sons, Brian of Anamosa and Blue (Soncia) of Waterloo; a brother, Tom (Sue) Martin of Waterloo; two sisters, Cathy (Terry) Timmer of Waterloo and Sandy Durre of Bryant, Ill.; four grandchildren, Auston, Anthony, Arron and Angel Boyer, all of Waterloo; a great-granddaughter, Peyton Rae Marie Bowman of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: her parents.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with visitation beginning at noon.

Nancy was very active in Alcoholics Anonymous and was the humble recipient of a 24-year medallion. She also was a proud UAW member. She loved her family very much and will be deeply missed.
