CEDAR FALLS - Betty Lou Olerud, 83, of Cedar Falls died Saturday, June 7, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 31, 1925, in St. Paul, Minn., daughter of E.A. and Estella Swain Preston. She married Paul L. Olerud on Aug. 9, 1952, in St. Paul. He died May 26, 1990.

Survived by: a daughter, Susan (Keith) Miskimins of Alcester, S.D.; a son, Steven J. of Cedar Falls; two granddaughters; and a sister, Donna K. Fuller of White Bear Lake, Minn.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
