Sally Jolene Niebergall of Edmond, Okla., passed to her Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008. Sally was born July 9, 1938, in Ottumwa, to Wilbur and Grace Dimmitt. She is preceded in death by her mother, Grace, and her sister, Suzanne Dimmitt. She was later raised by her father, Wilbur, and her stepmother, Leona Dimmitt, both of whom also preceded her in death.

Sally is survived by her five sons, Mark Hunt and wife Debbie of Edmond, Fred Hunt and Heidi of Guthrie, Okla., Brian Hunt and wife Shirley of Moore, Okla., Tom Hunt of Moore and Bruce Hunt and Linda of Yukon, Okla.; and three sisters, Barbara Stocks of Waterloo, Jo Ott of Hudson and Carmen Schubert of Sunnyvale, Calif.

Sally worked as an executive administrator for various businesses throughout her life. She was recently employed with the Logan County Aging Services. She loved the country life and enjoyed cooking, gardening, feeding the birds and reading.

Sally's life was full of love from her extensive family. She had 10 grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a strong and loving mother and will be greatly missed.

The family wishes the thank Dr. Jack Collier and the staff at Oklahoma Heart Hospital for their compassion and care of our mother.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Smith Memorial Chapel, Guthrie, with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
