ELK RUN HEIGHTS - Announcement is being made of the marriage of Emily Blad and Luke Putzler on Sept. 1, 2007, in an outdoor ceremony at the Rotary Reserve in Cedar Falls.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Janet Blad of Elk Run Heights, Denise Putzler of Sugar Grove, Ill., and the late Charles Putzler.
The Rev. Steve McCue of Westminster, Colo., officiated. A reception and dance followed.
Maid of honor was Jessica Parkhurst of Waterloo. Bridesmaids were Amy Oltmann of Janesville, cousin of the bride; Bobbi Pehle of Joliet, Ill.; and Karen Putzler of Montgomery, Ill., sister-in-law of the groom.
Best man was Jake Putzler of Montgomery, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ceri Chappell of London, United Kingdom, Matt Pehle of Joliet, and Christopher Blad of Champaign, Ill., brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Emma Meier of Cedar Falls, and Kylee Blad of Ankeny, cousins of the bride.
Ring bearers were Jacob Putzler of Montgomery, nephew of the groom; and Matthew Szabo of Richmond, Ill.
Seating guests were Larry Haskin of Evansdale, uncle of the bride; and Tom Hartigan of Chicago, uncle of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of St. Ambrose University and the University of Northern Iowa and is employed at Travelers Insurance in St. Paul. The groom, a graduate of Augustana College, is employed at Fraser School in Minneapolis.
The couple reside in St. Paul.
