LIME SPRINGS - Florence Bowen will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner.

She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Preston, Minn. She married Glenn Bowen on May 2, 1948, at Walnut Street Baptist Church in Waterloo. He passed away July 6, 1994.

Her children and their spouses are Eloise and Larry Black of Cedar Rapids, Paul and Vicki Bowen of Lime Springs, Mark and Pam Bowen of Waterloo and Mary Jacobson of Marshalltown. She has 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
