TRAER - Al and Judy Johnson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house luncheon from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the North Tama Activity Center in Traer.

Al Johnson and Judy Jensen were married Dec. 26, 1957, at the EUB Church in Waverly.

Mr. Johnson is retired from John Deere, and Mrs. Johnson is retired from Traer Super Market.

Hosting the event will be their children, Kim and Janet Johnson of Traer, Kevin and Jen Johnson of Cedar Rapids, Kendal and Misty Johnson of Ozark, Mo., Dave and Kerri Stuart of Buckingham, and Kelley Johnson and friend Laura Young, also of Traer. They have 13 grandchildren, with one deceased, and one great-granddaughter.

No invitations are being sent, and no gifts are requested.
