CEDAR FALLS -- The University of Northern Iowa's Executive Development Center is now accepting registrations for the 2008-2009 Business and Management Certificate Program.

The program consists of 10 one-day sessions, held between Sept. 17 and Jan. 21, 2009.

Based on an abbreviated MBA, this program is designed for individuals who want to advance their careers and help their organizations grow and succeed. Sessions topics include: communicating and managing conflict; team building and motivating to maximize performance; economics of effective business decision making; and performance management: setting goals, coaching and appraising staff.

This program qualifies for most tuition reimbursement programs and Iowa Jobs Training Programs 260E and 260F.

Four hours of graduate or undergraduate credit is available upon completion of this course.

Tuition is $3,010, including all materials, meals and parking; individuals who register by Sept. 1 receive the 2007 tuition rate of $2,895.
