Man wanted for firing at Clayton County deputies
GUTTENBERG --- Authorities are looking for a Clayton County man they say shot at a sheriff's deputy Tuesday and led them on a high-speed chase.

Deputies were called to a home southwest of Guttenberg at about 5 a.m. on a report of someone shooting at cars. Michael Billingsley, 23, allegedly began firing on deputies with a rifle, according to the Clayton County sheriff's office.

Billingsley later jumped in a vehicle and led deputies on a chase, which ended on Omega Road near Millville. He then fled on foot.

No one was injured in the incident.

Sheriff's deputies have not found Billingsley, who is wanted for possession of a firearm as a felon, intimidation with a dangerous weapon and reckless use of a firearm. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about Billingsley can call the Clayton County sheriff's office at (563) 245-2422.
