Police still seaching for robbery suspects
WATERLOO --- Waterloo police have detained one teen and are searching for others in a Monday night robbery were two men where beaten with a board.
The victims, Timothy Vance, 33, and Cassidy Collins, 22, were walking in the area of West Fifth and Grant streets at about 11 p.m. when they were attacked by four or five youths.
One of the victims had items taken during the attack, said Capt. Tim Pillack with the Waterloo Police Department.
Both men were taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.
On Tuesday morning, police took Rashawn Lee Jackson, 14, of 833 W. Second St., No. 303, into custody for first-degree robbery.
