UPDATE: Two people stabbed in Postville; suspect sought
By The Associated Press
POSTVILLE -- Authorities are looking for a suspect in the stabbing of two men in Postville in northeastern Iowa.

Police say they got a call about 2:50 a.m. on Thursday. When they arrived, officers say they found 19-year-old Irving Villarreal had been injured. He was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Neighbors apparently told police about a stabbing at another residence. When officers arrived at the second home, they say they found 37-year-old Ricardo Salinas, who was suffering from a single stab wound.

Salinas was airlifted to a hospital in La Crosse, Wis., and his condition wasn't released.

Police say the same man is believed to be involved in both stabbings. They say the man may be driving green Ford Aerostar.
