WATERLOO --- Dr. John E. Strong Jr., 71, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 1, at Covenant Clinic of natural causes; services 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery; full military rites by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31; visitation 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, 233-3393, with a 7 p.m. vigil service; visitation also an hour before services Saturday at the church; memorials to the family.
