Good Morning Cedar Valley and Happy TGIF! It's Friday, Feb. 1, 2008.

It's Super Bowl weekend, so get your party goodies gathered and prepare yourself to sit down and watch the commercials -- oh, and don't forget the game in between commercials.

But first things first, today's forecast is partly sunny, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as zero. Northeast wind around 8 mph becoming south southeast. Tonight, there is a  20 percent chance of light snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. Wind chill values as low as 5. South wind between 8 and 11 mph.

Here's what's going on today in the Cedar Valley:

--- There is a puppet show at 2:30 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library.

---  The Warriors high school hockey team will play Ames at 6:30 p.m. at Young Arena in downtown Waterloo. The JV plays at 8:15 p.m.

--- The comedy troupe Half-Masted 3.2 will perform at 6:30 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library. Doors open at 6 p.m.

--- The Greater Cedar Valley Chamber of Commerce's Winter Bash -08 will be 7-11 p.m. at Park Place Event Centre in Cedar Falls. It will feature Jim Longnecker and Mick Staebell, the Piano Men, doing dueling pianos. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at www.greatercedarvalleychambers.com.

--- The No. 1-ranked Wartburg wrestling team will have a dual meet against Cornell College at 7 p.m. at Buzz Levick Arena on the Wartburg College campus in Waverly.

--- In high school sports, East High girls' basketball will play at Cedar Falls at about 7:30 pm. West Delaware girls' basketball will play at Columbus at about 7:30 p.m. Cedar Falls boys' basketball will play at East High at about 7:30 p.m.  Dubuque Wahlert boys' basketball will play at Waterloo West at about 7:30 p.m. NU High boys' and girls' basketball will play at Hudson High at 6:30 p.m. Dunkerton boys' and girls' basketball will play at Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m.
