WAVERLY — Rachel Strickert and Adam McClellan exchanged wedding vows June 16 in Locust, N.C.
Parents of the couple are Fred and Gloria Strickert of Waverly and Clayton and Glenda McClellan of Stanfield, N.C.
The Rev. Ramona Bouzard of Waverly performed the 5 p.m. ceremony at Magnolia Glen.
Attending the bride were her sister-in-law, Stephanie Stricker of Tripoli; her sister, Angela Strickert Vaaler of Holly Springs, N.C.; Nicole Leisinger McCleary of Muscatine, Lindsay Daniels of Washington, D.C., and Kristine Giese of Charlotte, N.C.
Attending the groom were his father, Brad Coble, his brother, Dan McClellan, and Antoine Ingram, all of Stanfield; and Ben Strickert of Tripoli, brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Maria Vaaler and Emma Vaaler, both of Holly Springs, and Isabella Strickert of Tripoli, nieces of the bride.
The bride is an ESL teacher at Druid Hills Elementary School in Charlotte, and her husband is a mechanical engineer for storm Industries in Albermarle, N.C.
They live in Stanfield.
