NEW HAMPTON — Sharlet Spier and Michael DeSloover exchanged wedding vows June 16 in New Hampton.
Parents of the couple are Steven and Diane Spier of Sumner and Victor and Nancy DeSloover of Fredericksburg.
The Revs. Carl Schmitt and Carlton Shaw performed the 1 p.m. ceremony at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Matron of honor was Stacie Spier, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Lensing, Jennifer Eulgem and Sophia Spier, sister of the bride.
Best man was Brian Todd, and groomsmen were Scott Davis, Shaun Reisner and Derek O’Neil.
Flower girl was Gracie Halstead, niece of the bride, and ring bearer was Eastin Halstead, nephew of the bride.
Seating guests were Christopher Spier, brother of the bride, Debbie Birrell, Kate DeSloover, sister of the groom, and Shawn Baker.

The reception followed the wedding was held at the Starlite Ballroom in Lawler. Hosts and hostesses were Mark and Melanie Peterson and Matthew and Stephanie Horns, sisters and brothers-in-law of the groom.
A dance followed the reception with music by Sensational Sounds, DJ Gary Smith.
The bride is employed by New Hampton Nursing and Rehab Center and the groom is employed by Progress Casting in New Hampton.
The couple reside in New Hampton.
