CEDAR FALLS — Todd Alan Rhoades, 56, of Crystal Lake, Ill., formerly of Postville and Cedar Falls, died Monday, Aug. 20, at Provena St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elgin, Ill., from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Waterloo, son of Charles and Alice Rhoades. He married Kris Jensen Aug. 19, 1972, in Cedar Falls.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School and had an associate degree from Des Moines Community College in computer programming. He was employed at Follet Software, McHenry, Ill.

Survived by: his wife; two daughters, Stacy and Josie, both of Chicago; his mother, Alice Rhoades of Cedar Falls; four brothers, Kim (Mary), Dan (Linda) and Mark (Deb), all of Cedar Falls, and Brad of Eagan, Minn.; and a sister, Ann Jackson (Brian) of Seattle.

Preceded in death by: his father, Charles Rhoades.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Friday at Nazareth Lutheran Church.

Memorials: may be directed to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.
