We’ve got Dalton Schutjer of Charles City and Carl Broghammer of West Delaware going on right in front of now, Schutjer loses by fall.

We’re moving into wrestlebacks now. Have a lot of wrestlers looking to place. Will be back.

With the wrestlebacks still being contested, Denver/Tripoli remains in the team race. Here are the top four teams with Ballard of Huxley all but assured of repeating as champions.

1.   Ballard Huxley 86.50
2.   Clear Lake 43.50
3.   Denver-Tripoli 34.50
4.   East Marshall/GMG 30.00

Denver/Tripoli just wrapped a perfect morning session as Blake Sorensen at 145 and Noah Minikus at 152 each scored major decisions in consolation matches. The victories put both Titans on the podium as each could wrestle as high as third.

Charles City will see three of its five qualifers reach the podium as well, while Independence with have at least three state placewinners.

We will be back later tonight for the semifinals.
